Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Tollr need my location?

Tollr uses your current location as your starting point when calculating toll costs and comparing routes. For example, if you're near the I-85 Express Lanes in Atlanta, your location is used to calculate the toll price and travel time from where you actually are. Your location is never stored on our servers.

How does the "Worth It" score work?

Tollr compares the time saved on the express lane to the toll price using your personal hourly rate (set in Settings). If the time savings are worth more than the toll at your rate, it's marked as worth it. You can adjust your hourly rate anytime in Settings.

Why do I see a "No free searches left" message?

Tollr includes 3 free route searches. After that, a Tollr Pro subscription or Day Pass is required to continue. You can subscribe directly in the app.

What is a Day Pass?

A Day Pass gives you full access to Tollr for 24 hours with a one-time purchase — no subscription required. It's a great option if you only need Tollr occasionally.

How do I restore my subscription after reinstalling?

Open the app, tap the subscription prompt, and use the "Restore Purchases" option. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone to cancel or manage your Tollr subscription.

The toll price looks wrong. What should I do?

Toll prices are retrieved in real time from Google Routes and TollTally. Occasionally prices may lag by a few minutes during peak periods. If you consistently see incorrect prices for a specific facility, please email us at support@tollr.app with the facility name and location so we can investigate.
